Keith Haring was born May 4th, 1958 and passed away on February 16, 1990 due to AIDS related-complications. I decided to pay homage to him by creating 5"x5" stickers that I originally drew with marker and hand painted with watercolors. Only fifteen stickers were made and give out for free. For more information about Keith and his artwork read below.
Keith Haring was an American pop artist and social activist. His work spoke about concepts like war, sexuality, birth, death, and more. His simple, illustrated characters became recognized all over. Some of Keith Haring's notable works are: "Crack is Wack", "Radiant Baby", and the Pop Shop. Haring's brightly colored illustrations and graffiti and subject matter opened a new avenue for today's art. Haring found a way to express himself during a time when homosexuality in culture was not accepted. His pop art aesthetic and content helped him stand out from the crowd. He was painted murals, had artwork displayed globally, and his work has been included with sneaker projects for Adidas and Reebok.
What If No. 5
The latest What If features a collaboration between Adidas and Elijah Justice. For this piece I decided to apply my new Distorted Midnight Camouflage™ pattern to the popular Adidas Superstar 80 sneaker. Normally the collection features stand out pattern work. This time I decided to simplify things and only design the stripes of the shoe. This simple design can become versatile for this Adidas silhouette, and make its' owner stand out from the crowd.

Quick Illustration
Here's a quick illustration I did of the Adidas Superstar 80 shell toe sneaker. This model will be featured in my upcoming What If sneaker collection.

What If No. 4
Well Halloween is here and there's no better way to celebrate then eating candy corn and watching scary movies. I didn't decide to create this sneaker till October 30th. All along I thought I would create a candy corn themed sneaker. After talking with some friends, I wanted to go down a more scary route.
My brother and I have spent countless hours watching Friday the 13th movies, so naturally I thought, "What if there was a Jason Voorhees inspired sneaker?" Twenty-four hours later, a new sneaker was created. I didn't include the shoe box in this piece because I really wanted to focus on the details of the shoe. This new look is something I will consider when creating future shoes. Enjoy. 🔪 Click here for a hi-res picture.
What If No. 3
Cheetos are definitely a staple from my childhood. Whether they are regular, flamin' hot, or the hot popcorn, Cheetos were always good to me. As soon as I finished my bag, I instantly had to grab a napkin and wash my hands. I decided to further investigate the question, "What if Adidas and Cheetos collaborated?".
In my last post I talked about my recent pickup of Adidas latest shoe, the Stan Smith. So it was only right that I created a completely unique shoe using Cheetos and the Stan Smith silhouette.
What If No. 2
Well today I bring you two new interesting collaborations for the "What If" collection. I recently bought a pair of Adidas Stan Smiths and they are beyond comfortable. Due to my great satisfaction, I knew I had to create a design for this shoe.
This collaboration is between Adidas and Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. I have never been to Roscoe's, but I do know that chicken and waffles are very delicious. Here's a possible look at if Adidas and Roscoe's collaborated.
What Would You Create If You Stayed Up Till 5AM?
This is the result of staying up till 5 AM on a school night. I was making a grid for a graphic design class assignment, and of course one of the units was the silhouette of the Adidas ZX Flux shoe. So while I should of been sleeping, I decided to add some of the popular color ways to each of the silhouettes. Two of the color ways are completely unique that I made up.
