I received a package for my 21st birthday from my Grandmother, and I had no clue what was in store. When I opened the package I was greeted with a card, and several yards of fabric. The card explained that the fabric was authentic waxed English fabric from Ghana. My grandmother figured I could make some use of the fabric by bringing one of my creations to life.
Today I bring you the very first women's product to be sold on my shop. A custom women's pocket tee sewn together by me! I've spent the past few days creating the perfect pattern for the pockets to be sewn on the v-neck shirts. The pocket sits on the left side of the shirt (when being worn), and serves a purpose of function and aesthetics.
Here are some images of the shirt, along with one of the very first customers, Tristen Phipps. Tristen has recently started an online blog dedicated to cooking. Check it out here.
